SCOWL: Fight Theater is an absurdist stage combat show focusing on Queer and trans stories. Originating at the Motor City Steam Con in Detroit, back in 2017, SCOWL has continued to produce fights-I mean, shows across the country. Some of those locations include The International Steampunk Symposium in Cincinnati (2019), WNYC's Greene Space (2019), and our first full length show at The Brick Theater (2018).

Due to the spread of the Covid-19 Virus, SCOWL was forced to push back the opening date of our second full length show "Laddermagedon" . But out of that moment was born SCOWL's new virtual presence. Beginning with "Self Isolation Devastation" in June 2020, it later developed into the web series now known as "Digital Defenestration".
"Digital Defenestration" is a monthly sketch and competition show set in the world of SCOWL, with many characters you have seen from past fights and many new characters to meet!
